A New Year

I published my first blog post late in 2025… and nothing since [sad trombone]. That definitely was not my intention!! When it comes to social posting I tend to be timid and really short with my captions. While there’s nothing wrong with that…I wanted to commit to writing more because I enjoy it and it’s another way to get out of my comfort zone.

So what’s new:

December was amazing.  I debuted three new acts:

  • My angel act at the Philadelphia Burlesque Academy’s show: Baddies.  This was a show for alumni who have taken their burlesque act development course in the past.  It was a great way to show performer growth and also meet other performers from years I didn’t attend (“years” plural as I loved it so much, I did this program 2x).

  • An LED flow fan burlesque act to a Zeds Dead remix of Massive Attack’s Paradise Circus.  This was performed at the Naughty Jawn’s Sizzle: a sagittarius variety show.

  • My first tublesque act, performed at Fiery Sweet and True’s Sols-tits: a winter burlesque extravaganza. This is a show I co-produced with Joan of Snark and Candy Ramone and was my first experience in production.

In January I performed at the Vermont Burlesque Festival– my first experience performing at a burlesque festival.  Also my first time in Vermont.  I loved it!!

And while there are two more shows coming up… D20’s Vaudeville Valentine’s in February and then Fiery Sweet and True returns in April with a spring show…there will be more!! Follow me on Instagram for updates and ticket links.

I’ve been really grateful because I’ve been performing since 2022, but this is the most active my winter months have ever been.  For me, typically the waves hit high Spring/Fall, lower in Summer/Winter due to vacations/weather.

I don’t want to linger too long here, just bridging the gap for now, but I have other topics in mind to share soon (weekly): more on the experience of producing my first show, my first festival, insights on my creative process, etc.  Stay tuned 🙂
